Description

This 20-Minute One-Pot Creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta is a quick and flavorful dinner idea made with smoked sausage, creamy Cajun sauce, and pasta all cooked in one pot. A spicy, hearty, and comforting pasta recipe perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

12 oz smoked sausage, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

8 oz penne pasta

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat.

2. Add sliced smoked sausage and sauté until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.

3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then bring to a simmer.

5. Add Cajun seasoning and uncooked penne pasta. Stir well to combine.

6. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

7. Once pasta is al dente and liquid mostly absorbed, stir in Parmesan cheese.
