1 pound ground beef 12 ounces pasta (penne or rotini) 1 small onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 cups tomato sauce 2 cups beef broth 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Salt and pepper, to taste 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
