Description

Air Fried Babybel Cheese is a crispy, gooey snack perfect for parties, game days, or a quick cheesy treat. This easy air fryer recipe gives Babybel cheese wheels a golden crust without deep frying. A must-try for cheese lovers and snack fans!

Ingredients

6 pieces Mini Babybel Cheese

1⁄4 cup All-purpose flour

2 large Eggs

1⁄2 cup Italian breadcrumbs

1⁄2 cup Panko breadcrumbs

1⁄2 teaspoon Garlic powder

1⁄2 teaspoon Smoked paprika

Cooking spray

Instructions

1. Unwrap the Babybel cheeses and place them in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes so they stay firm during frying.

2. In three shallow bowls, prepare your breading station: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and smoked paprika.

3. Dip each Babybel in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating.

4. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F. Lightly spray each coated Babybel with cooking spray and place in the basket.

5. Air fry for 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for a minute or two before serving.

Notes

Freeze the cheese briefly before coating to keep it from melting too fast.

Double breading ensures maximum crunch.

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer so they cook evenly.
