Description
Make crispy and healthy Air Fryer Banana Chips at home with just ripe bananas, a touch of oil, and sea salt. The perfect snack recipe that’s easy, low-fat, and gluten-free.
Ingredients
2 bananas (just ripe and firm)
1 teaspoon olive oil or cooking spray
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Optional: pinch of cinnamon or sugar
Instructions
1. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
2. Place the banana slices in a bowl and lightly spritz or toss them with olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt, and if desired, a pinch of cinnamon or sugar.
3. Lay the banana slices in a single layer in your air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap.
4. Air fry at 350°F for about 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden and crispy.
5. Remove the chips and let them cool completely—they’ll continue to crisp as they cool. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Notes
Use bananas that are yellow and firm, not overripe.
Watch closely toward the end of cooking time to avoid burning.
Store in an airtight container to maintain crispness for up to a week.
