Description

Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken Wings are crispy, cheesy, and packed with savory flavor. These easy air fryer chicken wings use Parmesan cheese, garlic, and simple seasonings to create a golden crust with juicy chicken inside. Perfect for game day, party appetizers, or a quick family dinner.


Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

2 tablespoons olive oil

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Pat the chicken wings very dry with paper towels so they crisp properly in the air fryer.

2. Place the wings in a large bowl and toss them with the olive oil until evenly coated.

3. In a separate bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

4. Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over the wings and toss well so every piece is coated.

5. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F for 3 to 5 minutes.

6. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.

7. Air fry for 20 to 24 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until golden, crispy, and cooked through.

8. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

9. Transfer the wings to a serving plate and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For the crispiest wings, always pat them very dry before adding oil and seasoning.

Use finely grated Parmesan so it sticks better and creates a more even crust.

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or the wings will steam instead of crisp.
