Description

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

3 large eggs

1/2 cup melted butter

8 oz cream cheese, softened

3 3/4 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 1/2 cups chopped apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. In a bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and melted butter until a soft dough forms. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

4. Add the remaining 2 eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.

5. Slowly add the powdered sugar and beat until fully incorporated.

6. Fold in the chopped apples gently.

7. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base and spread evenly.

8. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

9. Let the cake cool completely before slicing into squares.
