Description

Apple Pie Tortilla Wraps with Brown Sugar Butter is a quick and easy dessert that wraps warm cinnamon apples in crispy tortillas, topped with buttery brown sugar sauce. Perfect for fall treats, sweet brunches, or simple weeknight desserts. A cozy handheld twist on classic apple pie.

Ingredients

2 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

4 flour tortillas

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons butter (plus more for pan)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch salt

Instructions

1. Peel, core, and chop apples into small cubes.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add apples and cook until they begin to soften.

3. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Let cook for 5–6 minutes until thickened and jammy.

4. Lay tortillas flat and spoon apple filling down the center of each.

5. Roll the tortillas tightly into wraps, tucking in the ends.

6. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and stir in brown sugar to create a glaze.

7. Place wraps seam side down into skillet and cook until golden on all sides, brushing extra glaze on top.

8. Serve warm, optionally topped with caramel, ice cream, or whipped cream.

Notes

Use flour tortillas for best texture and flexibility.

Don’t overfill the wraps or they’ll burst during cooking.

Add chopped pecans for a nutty crunch if desired.
