Description

These Baked Cinnamon Twists with Crescent Rolls are an easy, flaky pastry loaded with buttery cinnamon sugar and topped with vanilla glaze. A fast and cozy treat using crescent dough, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.


Ingredients

1 can crescent roll dough

2 tablespoons melted butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 to 2 tablespoons milk


Instructions

1. Unroll the crescent dough onto a floured surface. Pinch the seams to form a solid sheet and gently roll it out.

2. Brush the entire surface with melted butter.

3. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the dough.

4. Fold the dough in half lengthwise and press gently.

5. Slice into 1-inch strips and twist each piece.

6. Place the twists on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

7. Bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.

8. While baking, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla into a smooth glaze.

9. Drizzle glaze over slightly cooled twists.

10. Serve warm or store in an airtight container.

Notes

These twists are best served fresh and warm.

You can add chopped pecans or walnuts to the filling for a crunch.

Double the glaze for an extra drizzle if you like things sweeter.
