Ingredients
3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced or torn
1 cup fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pinch salt
1 pinch freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
1. Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them in halves or quarters depending on size.
2. Drain the mozzarella if packed in water and slice or tear into bite-sized pieces. Pat dry.
3. Arrange the strawberries, mozzarella, and basil on a serving platter or toss gently in a bowl.
4. Drizzle olive oil evenly over the top.
5. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the salad.
6. Sprinkle salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste.
7. Garnish with extra basil if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
This salad is best served fresh and not refrigerated for long.
Use mozzarella pearls for a quicker assembly and elegant look.
For added creaminess, substitute mozzarella with burrata.
