Perfect for busy weeknights, this homemade beefaroni is easy, cheesy, and freezer-friendly. Keywords: beefaroni, one-pot pasta, kid-friendly dinners, ground beef pasta, cheesy beef macaroni.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

2 cups elbow macaroni

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Heat a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat and brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.

2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until softened and fragrant.

3. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Cook the elbow macaroni separately in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain well.

5. Combine the cooked macaroni with the beef sauce. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

6. Serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish can be made ahead and reheated easily.

For added richness, substitute half the cheddar with mozzarella or a cheese blend.

Make it spicy by adding crushed red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
