1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp apple cider
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or place a wire rack over the sheet for even cooking.
- Pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture for a crispier texture.
- Season the wings by tossing them in a large bowl with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Drizzle with olive oil and mix well.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet or wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl.
- Toss the baked wings in the sauce until fully coated.
- Return the wings to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes at 425°F (220°C) for a sticky, caramelized finish.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious BBQ chicken wings!
