Ingredients
200 g spaghetti
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
3. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss with the garlic butter. Pour in soy sauce and a few tablespoons of the reserved pasta water.
4. Toss until the sauce evenly coats the noodles.
5. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
6. Season with black pepper to taste and serve hot.
