Ingredients
12 oz linguine
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Boil the linguine in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Season the beef with Cajun seasoning and stir well to coat evenly.
4. Push beef to the side of the skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté until garlic is fragrant, about 30 seconds.
5. Pour in milk and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
6. Add Velveeta cubes and melt them into the sauce, stirring continuously.
7. Mix in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and thickened.
8. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
9. Let pasta sit for 2 minutes to absorb flavor. Add a splash of milk if sauce becomes too thick.
10. Serve hot with extra Parmesan or Cajun seasoning on top.
Notes
Serve hot immediately for best texture and flavor.
To reheat, add a splash of milk and warm gently over low heat.
Avoid freezing, as the creamy sauce can separate when thawed.
