Description

This Cajun Garlic Butter Linguine with Tender Beef Strips is a bold, creamy pasta recipe featuring seared beef, garlic butter, and Cajun spices. It’s a rich and spicy dinner idea perfect for weeknights or gatherings. This easy pasta dish is comforting, full of flavor, and ideal for meal prep lovers and spice enthusiasts alike.

Ingredients

400g linguine

400g beef strips (flank, sirloin, or ribeye)

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 garlic cloves, minced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning and pour in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.

4. Add the cooked linguine to the sauce. If needed, loosen the sauce with a splash of reserved pasta water. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.

5. Return the beef strips to the skillet and gently mix everything together.

6. Plate the pasta and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

Always slice beef against the grain for maximum tenderness.

You can add spinach, mushrooms, or shrimp for variations.

Use unsalted butter to better control seasoning in the dish.
