Description

Cajun Garlic Butter Steak with Cheesy Alfredo Tortellini is a rich and creamy skillet dinner bursting with bold Cajun spice, juicy steak, and cheesy tortellini tossed in velvety Alfredo sauce. This one-pan comfort food recipe is perfect for weeknight meals or special occasions. Ideal for fans of steak Alfredo, tortellini pasta dishes, and easy Cajun recipes.

Ingredients

1 pound steak (ribeye, sirloin, or strip)

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

12 ounces cheese tortellini (refrigerated or frozen)

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Generously season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and rest.

3. Cook tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

5. Add heavy cream, stirring until it thickens slightly. Mix in Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth.

6. Slice rested steak and return to skillet. Add cooked tortellini and toss to coat in Alfredo sauce.

7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Let the steak rest after searing so juices stay inside.

Use refrigerated tortellini for quicker prep, but frozen works great too.

If reheating, add a splash of cream to keep the sauce smooth.
