Description

Cajun Steak Bites with Cheesy Garlic Shell Pasta Skillet is a bold, creamy, one-skillet dinner packed with tender Cajun-spiced steak, buttery garlic, and rich cheese sauce. This easy recipe combines sirloin steak bites and cheesy shell pasta into a family-favorite comfort food meal perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into cubes

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

8 oz shell pasta

2 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

3 oz cream cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook shell pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. Pat steak cubes dry and toss with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in batches, cooking until browned and crusty on all sides. Remove and keep warm.

4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet and melt, then add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

5. Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

6. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Stir until fully melted and the sauce is thick.

7. Toss in the cooked shell pasta. Stir to coat evenly in the cheese sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

8. Return steak bites to the skillet and mix gently. Let everything warm through for 1–2 minutes.

9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot directly from the skillet.

Notes

Use high-quality Cajun seasoning for the best flavor.

Sear steak in batches so the pan stays hot and gives a nice crust.

Add a splash of cream when reheating leftovers to bring back the sauce’s creaminess.
