Description

Cheeseburger French Fry Bake is the ultimate comfort food dinner made with ground beef, crispy French fries, melted cheddar, and tangy pickles. This crowd-pleasing casserole combines all your favorite burger flavors in one easy oven-baked dish. Perfect for weeknight dinners or game day!

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1/3 cup chopped dill pickles

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 bag (20 ounces) frozen French fries

Optional: chopped lettuce, diced tomato, burger sauce for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink.

3. Add diced onion and garlic; sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.

4. Stir in ketchup and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

5. Transfer beef mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

6. Sprinkle chopped pickles over the beef mixture.

7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

8. Arrange frozen French fries evenly over the top.

9. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until fries are golden and crispy.

10. Let cool slightly. Garnish with optional toppings before serving.

Notes

Use any style of fries: crinkle-cut, waffle, or curly.

Add bacon bits or jalapeños for an extra twist.

Bake fries separately if you want maximum crispiness.
