Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 small yellow onion, diced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned and softened. Drain excess grease and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish and spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the bottom.
3. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until smooth.
5. Pour the batter over the beef and cheese. Gently spread with a spoon if needed.
6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the top is golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Let the pie rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
