Description

This Cheesy Alfredo Linguine with Golden Garlic Butter Chicken is a creamy pasta dinner packed with rich flavor, golden-seared chicken, and a luscious homemade Alfredo sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special meals, this easy and comforting dish will win over the whole family. Keywords: Alfredo linguine, creamy chicken pasta, garlic butter chicken, easy chicken Alfredo.

Ingredients

1 pound linguine

2 large chicken breasts

4 garlic cloves, minced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 ½ cups grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the linguine until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.

2. Slice the chicken breasts in half to make thin cutlets. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook until golden and fragrant.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add pasta water to thin if needed.

6. Add the cooked linguine to the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat evenly.

7. Slice the chicken and arrange over the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra parmesan. Serve hot.

Notes

This recipe works best when served fresh while the sauce is hot and silky.

You can swap chicken with shrimp or keep it vegetarian with mushrooms.

Don’t skip the pasta water—it’s key to achieving the perfect sauce consistency.
