Description

This cheesy bowtie pasta with savory Cajun ground beef in garlic cream is the ultimate comfort food with a Southern twist. Loaded with bold Cajun flavor, a rich garlic cream sauce, and melted cheese, this easy dinner recipe is perfect for weeknights. Ideal for lovers of creamy pasta, spicy beef, and family-friendly meals.

Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 yellow onion, diced

1 bell pepper, diced

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 ½ cups heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.

3. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

4. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

5. Reduce heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir gently to blend the flavors.

6. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Stir until fully melted and sauce is smooth.

7. Toss in the cooked bowtie pasta and mix until well coated with the creamy beef sauce.

8. Serve hot, garnished with extra cheese if desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheese for the best melt and flavor.

Add a pinch of crushed red pepper if you like extra heat.

If the sauce thickens too much, loosen it with a splash of milk or cream when reheating.
