This Cheesy Cajun Steak Pasta with Garlic Parmesan Sauce recipe is a bold and creamy pasta dinner that combines Cajun-spiced steak, fettuccine, and a rich garlic Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for weeknight meals or special occasions, it’s a hearty, cheesy comfort food favorite. Includes easy steps, steak tips, and flavor-packed ingredients. Ideal for pasta lovers seeking something spicy, savory, and indulgent.

Ingredients

1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley (optional)

1/2 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil and butter in a hot skillet. Season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and let rest.

2. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in heavy cream, simmer, and stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted.

5. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.

6. Slice the rested steak against the grain.

7. Toss pasta into the sauce, top with steak, and gently fold everything together.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Let steak rest before slicing to keep it juicy.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture in the sauce.

Reserve pasta water before draining to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
