Description

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup milk

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

4 oz cheese, cut into small cubes

1/4 cup ketchup

1 tbsp brown sugar


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly grease a mini muffin tin.

2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, milk, and Worcestershire sauce until just combined.

3. Take 1 tablespoon of the mixture, flatten it, place a cheese cube in the center, then wrap the meat around the cheese and roll into a ball.

4. Place the bites on the prepared sheet or muffin tin. Bake for 15–18 minutes until fully cooked.

5. In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar. Brush over baked bites and return to oven for 5 more minutes until sticky and glossy.

6. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use 80/20 ground beef for juicier bites.

Avoid over-mixing the meat to keep them tender.

Swap in different cheeses for variety—cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack work great.
