Description

These crispy Chicken Coleslaw Egg Rolls are the ultimate savory appetizer, packed with shredded chicken, crunchy coleslaw mix, and flavorful seasonings. Whether fried, baked, or air-fried, they make a perfect game day snack or party treat. Easy to freeze, quick to reheat, and loaded with crunch and flavor, this chicken egg rolls recipe is a must-try for any occasion.

Ingredients

12 egg roll wrappers

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

2 cups coleslaw mix

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, coleslaw mix, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and sesame oil. Mix well to coat evenly.

2. Lay an egg roll wrapper with a corner facing you. Add 2 tablespoons of filling just below center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in sides, and roll tightly. Seal the top corner with water. Repeat with remaining wrappers.

3. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F in a deep skillet. Fry egg rolls in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes.

4. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauces like sweet chili or soy sauce.

Notes

Let the filling cool slightly before wrapping to prevent soggy rolls.

Do not overstuff the wrappers to avoid bursting during frying.

You can bake or air-fry at 400°F for 10-12 minutes for a lighter version.
