Description

This Chocolate Toffee Trifle is a decadent no-bake dessert layered with moist chocolate cake, creamy chocolate pudding, fluffy whipped topping, and crunchy toffee bits. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or an indulgent treat. A must-try dessert for chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

2 cups chocolate cake cubes

2 cups chocolate pudding

1 ½ cups whole milk

2 cups whipped topping

¾ cup toffee bits

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (optional)


Instructions

1. Bake or prepare the chocolate cake, then let it cool completely. If using store-bought, cut it into cubes.

2. In a mixing bowl, whisk chocolate pudding mix with whole milk until smooth and thickened. Chill for 5–10 minutes.

3. In a trifle bowl, add a layer of chocolate cake cubes. Top with a layer of pudding, then whipped topping. Sprinkle toffee bits on top.

4. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the bowl, finishing with whipped topping and extra toffee bits.

5. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top if using.

6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Use boxed cake mix or premade cake to save time.

Make a day ahead—the flavor deepens beautifully overnight.
