Description

This creamy beef and bowtie pasta recipe is a hearty, family-friendly dinner made with ground beef, cheddar cheese, and a rich cream sauce. Quick, easy, and perfect for busy weeknights, this comforting pasta dish is a favorite in every home. Great for meal prep, freezer-friendly, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound ground beef

12 ounces bowtie pasta

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

4 ounces cream cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess grease.

2. In a separate pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.

3. Lower the heat under the beef skillet. Stir in the cream cheese until melted and smooth.

4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and beef broth. Stir to combine and simmer for 3–4 minutes.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar. Stir until the sauce is rich and smooth.

6. Add cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Let it simmer for 2–3 more minutes.

7. Serve hot with chopped parsley on top if desired.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for the smoothest melt.

Don’t overcook the pasta—al dente works best with creamy sauces.

To reheat, add a splash of milk or cream for freshness.
