Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
8 ounces linguine pasta
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer to thicken.
5. Cook linguine in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
6. Slice cooked chicken. Add cooked linguine to the sauce and toss well.
7. Mix in shredded mozzarella until melted and creamy.
8. Plate pasta and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
