Description

This creamy mozzarella chicken linguine in garlic Cajun butter is a rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring juicy chicken breast, silky Cajun-spiced cream sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese. Perfect for weeknight dinners or indulgent gatherings, it’s an irresistible comfort meal everyone will love.

Ingredients

12 oz linguine

2 chicken breasts

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

3 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Slice chicken into strips and season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

3. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 1 minute.

5. Add a bit more Cajun seasoning, then pour in the heavy cream and stir.

6. Gradually add mozzarella and stir until melted and creamy.

7. Return chicken to the skillet along with linguine. Toss everything to coat in the sauce.

8. Use reserved pasta water if needed to adjust sauce consistency.

9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Shred mozzarella from a block for best melting.

Adjust Cajun spice to your heat preference.

Use reserved pasta water to control sauce thickness.
