Description

This creamy Velveeta bowtie pasta with Italian beef marinara is the perfect comfort food dinner. Featuring tender farfalle pasta, rich Velveeta cheese sauce, and bold Italian-seasoned beef marinara, this recipe brings cheesy, hearty, and satisfying flavors to your weeknight meals. Ideal for pasta lovers craving an easy and indulgent dish.

Ingredients

1 pound bowtie pasta (farfalle)

1 pound ground beef

2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed

2 cups marinara sauce

1 cup heavy cream

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.

3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess grease. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

4. Pour in marinara sauce. Stir well and let simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

5. In a separate saucepan, melt Velveeta cheese with heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth. Add pasta water if needed to loosen.

6. Add the cooked pasta to the beef marinara mixture. Pour in the cheese sauce. Toss gently to coat all ingredients.

7. Let everything heat together for 2-3 minutes, then garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

This recipe thickens as it cools, so serve right away for best texture.

Leftovers can be stored for up to 4 days in the fridge.

For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper to the beef mixture.
