Ingredients
1 lb penne pasta
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
12 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Boil the penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
3. Season the beef with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat evenly.
4. Reduce heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream. Let it come to a simmer.
5. Add Velveeta cheese cubes. Stir until melted into a creamy sauce.
6. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and thickened. Adjust seasoning if needed.
7. Add the cooked penne pasta into the skillet and mix until fully coated with the sauce.
8. Serve hot with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley, if desired.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
Add a splash of milk when reheating leftovers to revive the creamy sauce.
Feel free to stir in sautéd bell peppers or mushrooms for extra depth.
