Ingredients
12 ounces large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup cornstarch
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon lime juice
2 tablespoons chopped green onions (garnish)
Instructions
1. Set up three bowls: one with cornstarch, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper mixed.
2. Dredge shrimp in cornstarch, dip in egg, then coat in seasoned panko. Press gently to adhere.
3. Lightly spray breaded shrimp with oil and place in air fryer basket.
4. Air fry at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
5. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice to make the bang bang sauce.
6. Toss cooked shrimp with sauce or drizzle on top. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve sauce on the side if you want to keep shrimp extra crispy.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed.
For spicier flavor, increase the amount of sriracha in the sauce.
