Ingredients
1 lb salmon fillets, boneless and skinless
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup oil for frying
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tsp honey
Instructions
1. Cut salmon fillets into bite-sized chunks. Pat them dry and place into a bowl with buttermilk to soak.
2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to make the coating.
3. Remove salmon from buttermilk, shake off excess, and toss in the flour mixture until well coated.
4. Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry salmon in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
5. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey in a bowl to make the bang bang sauce.
6. Serve salmon bites hot with sauce drizzled over or on the side. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Serve immediately for best crispiness.
Adjust sriracha to control spice level.
Use an air fryer as a lighter option.
