Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves minced garlic
2 oz cream cheese
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Instructions
1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Whisk the eggs in a bowl. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
3. Dip each chicken piece into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb-Parmesan mix. Press gently to adhere.
4. Fry the chicken in oil or air fry at 400°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Cook until golden and crisp.
5. In a saucepan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Stir in Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika and toast briefly.
6. Add cream cheese and heavy cream to the pan and whisk until smooth. Stir in mozzarella and simmer to thicken.
7. Serve the crispy chicken with the Alfredo sauce either tossed together or plated separately with sauce on top. Garnish with Parmesan or parsley if desired.
Notes
This recipe serves 4 people.
For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne to the sauce.
Reheat chicken in the air fryer to keep it crispy.
