Description

Delicious Salted Caramel Fudge Truffles are the ultimate no-bake treat, featuring a rich chocolate fudge base wrapped around a gooey caramel center and topped with flaky sea salt. Perfect for the holidays or edible gifts, these easy caramel fudge truffles are a crowd-pleaser with every bite. Keywords: salted caramel fudge truffles, no-bake truffles, chocolate caramel truffles.

Ingredients

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

20 soft caramel candies

Flaky sea salt, for garnish

1 cup melted chocolate, optional for coating

Instructions

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.

2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth and melted.

3. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

4. Let the fudge mixture cool for 10 minutes, then refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours until firm.

5. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of fudge, flatten it in your palm, and place a soft caramel in the center.

6. Wrap the fudge around the caramel and roll it into a ball.

7. Repeat the process with the remaining fudge and caramels.

8. If desired, dip each truffle into melted chocolate and place on a lined tray.

9. Sprinkle each truffle with flaky sea salt while chocolate is still wet.

10. Chill truffles again for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure your fudge mixture is cold and firm enough to roll.

Use soft caramels that remain chewy when chilled.

Dipping in chocolate is optional but gives a nice, professional finish.
