Description
Easy Creamy Velveeta Chicken Bowtie Pasta with Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a comforting and simple dinner recipe made with tender chicken, creamy Velveeta, garlic, mozzarella, and farfalle pasta. A quick and satisfying cheesy pasta dish perfect for weeknights.
Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta
2 chicken breasts
1 ½ cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, let it melt, then sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a light simmer. Add Velveeta cubes and stir until melted and creamy. Add mozzarella and stir until smooth.
5. Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to coat. Add the cooked bowtie pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated.
6. Serve hot, garnished with additional mozzarella or chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Use freshly minced garlic for the most aromatic flavor.
Don’t overcook the pasta; al dente texture works best for this dish.
Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce.
