Description
Easy Layered Christmas Jello is a festive no-bake dessert perfect for the holidays. With red, white, and green layers, this Christmas jello recipe is fruity, creamy, and eye-catching. Great for parties, potlucks, and family gatherings.
Ingredients
1 cup boiling water for cherry jello
1 package (3 oz) cherry jello
1/2 cup cold water for cherry jello
1 cup boiling water for lime jello
1 package (3 oz) lime jello
1/2 cup cold water for lime jello
2 packets unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup cold water for gelatin
1 1/2 cups boiling water for white layer
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
1. Lightly spray a 9×13 glass dish with non-stick spray to prep.
2. In a bowl, dissolve 1 package of cherry jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved, then add 1/2 cup cold water. Pour into dish and refrigerate 20–30 minutes until set.
3. While the red layer sets, bloom 2 packets of unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water for 5 minutes.
4. Add 1 1/2 cups boiling water to the bloomed gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.
5. Stir in 1 can of sweetened condensed milk to the gelatin mix and let cool to room temperature.
6. Once the red layer is set, gently pour 1 cup of the white layer over it. Chill for 20–30 minutes.
7. Repeat the same process with lime jello: dissolve in 1 cup boiling water, add 1/2 cup cold water, cool slightly, then pour over white layer and chill.
8. Add another white layer after green is set. Alternate until you’ve used all your jello and milk mixture.
9. Chill the completed layers for at least 4 hours or overnight before slicing and serving.
Notes
Let each layer chill completely before adding the next to avoid colors mixing.
Use a spoon to pour layers gently to avoid disturbing the surface.
Make a day ahead for perfect slices and less holiday stress.
