Description
These Easy Maple Candied Pecans are the perfect naturally sweetened snack or topping made with just maple syrup, coconut oil, and cinnamon. Great for salads, desserts, and gifting, this skillet pecan recipe is quick, healthy, and totally addictive.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups pecans
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon coconut oil
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch sea salt
Instructions
1. Place a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add pecans. Toast them for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant.
2. Reduce the heat slightly. Add maple syrup, coconut oil, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the pan. Stir well to coat the pecans.
3. Cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring constantly as the syrup bubbles and thickens. Remove from heat once the mixture is glossy and most of the liquid has evaporated.
4. Transfer pecans to a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread them out. Let them cool fully so they can crisp up.
Notes
Use real maple syrup for the best flavor and texture.
Cool completely before storing to preserve crispiness.
Double the batch easily for gifting or parties.
