Description
These Easy Pecan Pie Brownies combine a rich, fudgy brownie base with a gooey pecan pie topping for a Southern-style dessert that’s perfect for holidays, potlucks, and cozy nights. With simple ingredients and a quick prep, this pecan pie brownies recipe is an easy crowd-pleaser packed with texture and flavor.
Ingredients
1 box brownie mix (or homemade for 9x13 pan)
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
2. Prepare the brownie mix or homemade batter and pour it into the pan. Bake for 5 minutes less than the suggested time so the base is slightly underdone. Let cool slightly.
3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt until smooth.
4. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and vanilla. Fold in chopped pecans.
5. Pour the pecan topping over the partially baked brownies and spread evenly.
6. Return to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is set and golden.
7. Cool completely before slicing for best results.
Notes
These brownies are rich—smaller portions are perfect.
Don’t skip cooling before slicing to help the topping firm up.
For extra depth, toast the pecans lightly before mixing them in.
