Ingredients
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup eggnog
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup espresso or strong brewed coffee
18 to 20 ladyfinger cookies
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
Instructions
1. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form and set aside.
2. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, eggnog, and sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated.
3. Pour the espresso into a shallow dish. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the espresso, ensuring they soak but don’t get soggy.
4. In serving cups, layer soaked ladyfingers on the bottom. Spoon mascarpone filling over them. Repeat layering once more.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
6. Before serving, dust tops with nutmeg and cocoa powder.
