Description

Flavorful Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce is a rich, bold, and easy homemade sauce made with butter, fresh garlic, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and parsley. Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low to medium heat until fully smooth.

2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 to 60 seconds, stirring often, until fragrant.

3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 30 seconds to bloom the spices.

4. Add the fresh lemon juice and stir until the sauce is glossy and well combined.

5. Remove from the heat and stir in the chopped parsley.

6. Serve warm over shrimp, salmon, chicken, pasta, rice, potatoes, or vegetables.

Notes

Keep the heat low so the garlic softens without burning.

For a milder sauce, reduce the Cajun seasoning or leave out the red pepper flakes.

This sauce is best served warm, but leftovers can be refrigerated and gently reheated.
