Ingredients
1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
8 ounces egg noodles or lo mein noodles
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 stalks green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon oil for searing
Instructions
1. Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak pieces and sear until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add soy sauce and brown sugar, stirring to combine into a smooth sauce.
5. Return steak to the skillet. Add cooked noodles and toss everything together until well coated.
6. Stir in chopped green onions and chili flakes if using. Toss again and remove from heat.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Use sirloin or ribeye for the most tender steak bites.
Add a splash of noodle cooking water if the sauce feels too thick.
Customize heat with more or less chili flakes.
