Description

Graveyard Dirt Cake Cups are a spooky and fun no-bake Halloween dessert made with chocolate pudding, crushed cookies, whipped topping, and candy decorations. Perfect for kids’ parties and make-ahead Halloween treats.

Ingredients

24 chocolate sandwich cookies

1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 container (8 oz) whipped topping

8 to 10 clear plastic cups

16 gummy worms

8 to 10 oval cookies (for tombstones)

Optional: candy bones, edible markers for decorating

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.

2. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and beat until fluffy. Fold in whipped topping gently until combined.

3. Crush chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.

4. Start assembling each cup by layering crushed cookies on the bottom, followed by a layer of pudding, then the cream cheese mixture. Repeat the layers until the cups are nearly full. Top with a final layer of crushed cookies.

5. Decorate the top of each cup with an oval cookie as a tombstone. Write “RIP” on it using an edible marker if desired. Add gummy worms and candy bones for the spooky touch.

6. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve cold and enjoy!

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest texture.

Add candy eyes or colored icing to customize your spooky scene.

Don’t add gummy worms too early or they’ll get too soft.
