Description

This High-Protein Cottage Cheese Ninja Creami Ice Cream recipe is a creamy, low-sugar dessert packed with protein. Made with simple ingredients like cottage cheese and protein powder, it’s the perfect healthy ice cream recipe for fitness lovers and sweet treat fans alike.

Ingredients

1 cup cottage cheese

1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

1. Add cottage cheese, almond milk, protein powder, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for 24 hours until solid.

3. Place the frozen pint into the Ninja Creami, use the “Lite Ice Cream” or “Creamy” function, and spin until creamy.

4. If needed, add a tablespoon of almond milk and re-spin for smoother texture.

5. Top with your favorite toppings and serve immediately or refreeze for later.

Notes

This ice cream is best enjoyed freshly spun for a soft-serve texture.

Full-fat cottage cheese gives the creamiest results, but low-fat works in a pinch.

You can easily customize the flavor with mix-ins like berries, nut butter, or cocoa powder.
