Description

These crispy Homemade Air Fryer Potato Chips are the ultimate healthy snack made with russet potatoes, olive oil, and sea salt. This easy air fryer chips recipe is crunchy, customizable, and made with simple ingredients for a quick guilt-free treat. Perfect for snacking, parties, or side dishes.

Ingredients

1 pound russet potatoes

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

Optional seasonings to taste (paprika, garlic powder, chili flakes)

Instructions

1. Slice the potatoes into 1/16-inch rounds using a mandoline or sharp knife.

2. Soak the slices in cold water for 20–30 minutes to remove starch.

3. Drain and dry the potato slices thoroughly with a towel.

4. Toss the slices with olive oil and your chosen seasonings in a bowl.

5. Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

6. Air fry at 350°F for 10–15 minutes, shaking halfway through.

7. Let cool slightly before serving for added crisp.

Notes

Use a mandoline slicer for evenly thin chips.

Soaking in water is key to getting crispy chips.

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches.
