2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks (optional)

2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
4. Gently fold in the chopped maraschino cherries and dark chocolate chunks if using.

6. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set.

Notes
Let the fudge come to room temperature slightly before slicing for cleaner edges.
Dry your cherries thoroughly to avoid excess moisture in the fudge.
Use high-quality chocolate for a richer flavor.
