Ingredients
1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
8 ounces cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup chicken broth
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Pour chicken broth over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
3. Once cooked, remove chicken and shred with two forks. Return it to the crockpot and stir to combine.
4. Add cream cheese, heavy cream, and shredded cheddar. Stir until melted and smooth.
5. Add broccoli florets and cover. Cook for another 20–30 minutes until broccoli is tender.
6. Stir once more before serving. The sauce should be thick, creamy, and cheesy.
Notes
Use fresh broccoli for firmer texture, or frozen for convenience.
You can substitute chicken thighs for extra flavor and tenderness.
Reheat with a splash of cream to restore creamy texture if needed.
