Ingredients
2 pounds fresh strawberries
1 package golden sandwich cookies
1 tub whipped topping (8 oz, like Cool Whip)
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
1. Wash, hull, and slice the strawberries. Toss with a bit of sugar and set aside.
2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk.
3. Fold in the whipped topping gently until combined and fluffy.
4. In a 9ร13 inch dish, layer cookies on the bottom.
5. Spread half the cream mixture over the cookies.
6. Add a layer of strawberries.
7. Repeat layers ending with strawberries on top.
8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
