Description

This Olive Cheese Ball recipe is a flavorful party appetizer made with cream cheese, cheddar, and briny green olives, rolled in crunchy pecans. Perfect for gatherings, holidays, and snacking. Easy, make-ahead, and crowd-pleasing!

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup green olives, pimento-stuffed and finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, optional

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar until smooth.

2. Add chopped olives, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until combined.

3. Shape the mixture into a ball using plastic wrap or your hands.

4. Refrigerate the cheese ball for at least 1 hour to firm.

5. Roll the chilled ball in chopped nuts (mixed with parsley if using).

6. Let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.

Use gloves or plastic wrap when shaping the ball to avoid sticky hands.

For a spicier version, mix in a few dashes of hot sauce or chopped jalapeños.
