Description

Paula Deenโ€™s Artichoke Dip is a creamy, cheesy baked appetizer made with tender artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan, and mozzarella. This easy Southern-style artichoke dip is perfect for parties, game day, holidays, and family gatherings. Serve it warm with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables for the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer.


Ingredients

1 can 14 ounce artichoke hearts drained and chopped

8 ounces cream cheese softened

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 cloves garlic minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a baking dish.

2. Drain the artichoke hearts thoroughly and chop into small pieces.

3. In a large bowl combine softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.

4. Stir in chopped artichokes, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until fully mixed.

5. Spread mixture evenly into prepared baking dish.

6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.

8. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and smooth melting texture.

Make the dip ahead of time and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.

For extra flavor add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a splash of lemon juice.
