Description

Peach Butter Swim Biscuits are rich, buttery, and baked to golden perfection right in a pool of butter. These no-fuss, sweet-savory Southern biscuits with peach butter are soft inside with crispy, buttery edges. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a comforting snack.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 3/4 cups buttermilk

1/4 cup peach butter

1/2 cup unsalted butter

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F and place the butter in an 8×8-inch baking dish. Let it melt in the oven while it preheats.

2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until combined.

3. Add in the buttermilk and peach butter. Stir just until a shaggy dough forms—do not overmix.

4. Pour the dough into the hot dish over the melted butter. Spread it gently into the corners.

5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

6. Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

These are best enjoyed warm straight from the oven.

You can use store-bought or homemade peach butter.

For extra flavor, swirl a bit of cinnamon into the dough.
