Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (for frosting)
1/4 cup milk (for frosting)
2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add 1 cup of peanut butter and mix until smooth.
4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until just combined.
5. Spread dough into prepared pan evenly and bake for 22 to 25 minutes until lightly golden.
6. While bars are baking, mix together 1/2 cup peanut butter, milk, and powdered sugar until smooth to make the frosting.
7. Spread frosting over bars while still warm to let it melt slightly into the top.
8. Let bars cool completely before slicing and serving.

Use classic creamy peanut butter, not natural, for best texture.
